Capabilities / Reports

Health and retrospectives

Questions about your projects are answered from your board as it is right now, never from memory. Every number in the answer is one Sands read and counted.

Project health

Ask how a project is doing and Sands reads its current state: open work, what finished recently, what is overdue or blocked, and where the load sits. The answer cites the numbers it found, and the run shows where each came from.

Try asking

How is the website project doing?

Retrospectives

A retrospective covers a window you choose: what shipped, what stalled, and how work moved. Counts are computed by the tools from completion data and quoted as computed.

Try asking

Run a retrospective on the last two weeks of the website project

Lists and lookups

Ask for any slice of the board and Sands lists it with links:

  • "What's in progress in the Platform team?"
  • "Show me open bugs assigned to me"
  • "What is overdue in LUM?"
  • "Summarize WEB-142 and its comments"

When data is missing

Missing is never zero

If Sands cannot read something, for example a project you have no access to, it says so instead of reporting zero. If a project name does not match anything in your tool, it tells you and lists the closest projects.
